Overview
Ankur Warikoo’s course, “Take Charge of Your Time,” concludes with a 10-day exercise in which participants are taught to keep an excel document detailing all of their activities for the previous 10 days in order to create a matrix of “Urgent” and “Important” tasks for each activity they carry out throughout the day. So, when performing that activity, we noticed how simple our application ‘FocuzWiz’ made it.
What is FocuzWiz?
FocuzWiz is a time management application founded on the principle of one product, many missions! Users may effortlessly track their daily tasks in the app regardless of time, location, or age. As a tool, focuzwiz will help you in increasing your productivity and decreasing your stress levels. In FocuzWiz, one only needs to journal their tasks that they performed during the day. And our application will automatically drive a matrix of ‘important’ and ‘urgent’ for you from time to time, without you having to do it manually.
Also, Ankur Warikoo advises in that 10-day exercise to make a list of everything we do during the day and note the exact times we do it. Indeed, we at FocuzWiz think that this may be difficult. Similarly, our software makes it simple for users to report tasks they complete by only entering the start time. When they go on to input the next action, the app will automatically calculate the end time.

Features of FocuzWiz
The following list includes some of the important features that our application FocuzWiz shares with Ankur Warikoo’s course.
- On the dashboard section of the app, you can view the time you’ve journaled about in the form of a pie chart. This makes it simpler for you to see how much time you’ve spent over the course of different time frames, from “the last seven days” to “the beginning of the month and year.”
- The Timelog area is the core section of the software. Here, you may keep track of the time you spend each day on different activities by naming them, noting how long they took, and journaling how much time you spent on each activity overall. At the end of the day, you’ll be able to check how much time you spent.
- In the task section, you may design the whole plan that will assist you in meeting your focus area targets. You may also give these tasks descriptions and categorize them according to your preferences.
- The Reminder area allows you to set daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual reminders from your to-do list to complete as time goes.
- The Focus Area area can help you stay productive all day. You may choose a focus area for everything from finance to a basic math issue here. Set a task for the day on the Focus Area tab, then work on it and mark it as active, inactive, finished, or disabled.
- In the application, you may also join a variety of communities based on your needs and areas of interest. These communities will help you in improving your performance in the areas where you believe you need improvement.
Conclusion
The following are some key learnings from Ankur Warikoo’s time management course:
- Take charge of your own time.
- The only goal of your life should be to increase the value of your time.
- So many people among us start their day by giving control to the other world. As they start their day by checking their phone so all their comments, likes, reactions etc., controls our day in our life.
- Just that simple step of how you wake up would determine how you would lead the rest of the day.
- It’s not enough to control your time. To control time, you need to understand the relationship between you and your time.
- We have a very weird relationship with our times as we never know where we’re spending our time, why we are spending the time, and how it impacts us in our life.
- We all forgets the most important fundamental principle of managing our time, to be able to measure our time. If you don’t know where the time goes during your day, in which things, and why? Were those things important to you? Were they only urgent things? Then you’ll never be able to control your time. Because you don’t even know what it is, what it is that you are trying to fix?
- Ankur Warikoo in his lecture mentions that, taking charge of your time and managing it is not everything but knowing where you spent your time, on what is important to you or what is urgent to you is everything.
